DB-1 Derrick Basket The DB-1 Derrick Basket is made for lifting personnel in a much safer method than using a boatswains chair or harness with sitting sling. The DB-1 incorporates a lightweight basket made to be used in concert with a retractable lifeline attached to a fall protection harness. Derrick hands will be able to bring tools up with them and have much more comfortable and safe experience. Unlike a sling or chair, there is no pressure on the upper leg.
