AY McDonald 6814314 500D 3" Ductile Iron Check Valve W/BREAK PLUG. With break off valves bronze poppet. Stainless steel spring and nut. Painted. Breakoff plug is stainless steel. When manually broken, the break off plug allows for water drainage from drop pipe before removal of pump.
